Williamson County residents will have several opportunities in November to help shape the selection of the next public school superintendent.

The Williamson County Board of Education has chosen ZEAL Education Group to guide the search and gather community feedback.

District leaders say they want to hear not only from school employees and parents but also from residents without children currently enrolled in the system.

On Monday, November 2, Williamson County Schools plans to email families and staff a ThoughtExchange survey about the qualities they value in a superintendent.

The online survey is scheduled to remain open through November 13.

Participants will be able to offer ideas and respond to suggestions from others anonymously.

Community meetings are also planned for the following week, with in-person sessions at Centennial High on November 9, Ravenwood High on November 10, and Independence High on November 11.

Each school meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Virtual sessions are planned for noon to 1 p.m. on those same three dates.

The feedback will help create a leadership profile that district officials intend to use when evaluating candidates.

Board chair Claire Reeves has emphasized that public input matters to a search expected to influence both the district’s next leadership chapter and its broader strategic planning.

Residents interested in participating should watch district communications for survey access and virtual meeting details.

The search is an opportunity for the community to define its priorities before a hiring decision is made.
