Openings and Business Changes Around Middle Tennessee: October 19 |
New dining destinations, familiar names returning and business transitions in Nashville, Franklin and Murfreesboro |

From a new Mexican restaurant to the return of a familiar neighborhood name, several business changes are reshaping the places Middle Tennessee residents eat and gather.
Here is a look at what's newly open, what is planned and which local establishments are changing direction.
NOW OPEN: NASHVILLE
Amorino Gelato and Eagle & Ivy appear among Nashville's newly opened food and drink businesses this October.
The openings add fresh options for residents exploring the city's expanding dining scene.
Opening dates and current hours should be checked directly with each business before visiting.
OPENING SOON: NASHVILLE YARDS
Puesto, a family-owned Mexican restaurant group from California, has announced an October 23 opening for its first Tennessee restaurant at Nashville Yards.
Known for its handmade blue corn tortillas and Mexico City-style tacos, the concept will occupy space on the ground floor of The Everett residential tower.
That location places the restaurant near The Pinnacle, adding another dining option to the growing downtown development.
CHANGING NAMES: FRANKLIN
In Franklin, the former Tin Roof 2 is transitioning to The Rafters under new ownership.
The kitchen has continued operating during the transition, while the new team works through licensing, staffing and adjusted hours.
The operator has signaled a shift toward a more family-friendly atmosphere.
PLANNED RETURN: WEST NASHVILLE
Plans to revive Dalts American Grill are moving ahead at 38 White Bridge Pike, where permits describe construction of a new restaurant building.
The longtime favorite is not yet reopened, and a confirmed opening date has not been announced.
ON THE HORIZON: MURFREESBORO
The Curious Kitchen is planning a move to a larger space on East Compton Road, with a target of spring 2027.
A new Tropical Smoothie Cafe location is also under development on Memorial Boulevard.
Both projects are plans rather than openings already completed.
For readers following regional changes, the key is distinguishing a business that is open now from one still waiting on construction or permits.
Check back for updated dates as these projects move closer to welcoming customers. |
